Bookkeeping
- Provide timely banking, credit card, loan, and merchant account reconciliations.
- Process credit card payments through QuickBooks Payments on your behalf.
- Accounts Payable – code, post, and bill pay with your approval.
- Accounts Receivable – Invoicing, sending customer statements, and follow-up on payments as necessary.
Reporting
- Produce timely Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and yearly statements for your organization.
- Take care of regular journal entries as necessary to balance and keep reporting up-to-date.
- Handle job cost accounting and multiple business locations to give you accurate data on where your business is the most profitable.
Payroll
- Provide payroll based on your company’s pay schedule for hourly and salary employees.
- Provide bonus and special payroll runs including reimbursements and commissions.
- Handle all W9 forms and employee data with accuracy and security.
- Have the ability to work with QuickBooks Online payroll, ADP, and Gusto.
Accounting
- Assist with tracking all revenues and expenses once downloaded from your bank or credit card.
- Configure your financial statements to ensure accuracy.
- Work closely with your CPA firm to provide any data necessary and answer appropriate questions.
Taxes
- Report and pay all monthly, quarterly, and yearly federal and state payroll taxes if using Quickbooks Online payroll.
- Handle sales and use tax preparation and reporting for your business.
- Prepare and file W2s and 1099s with the IRS and state as necessary.
Set Up & Catch Up
- Set up any new companies or companies with accounting software, and make sure you are in compliance.
- Put a chart of accounts in order, and provide tutorials on QuickBooks Online software.
- Help companies become current on any delinquent taxes, or reporting that is behind.

Most frequent questions and answers
L&K can perform bookkeeping for your company setting you up with QuickBooks Online software (QuickBooks Desktop data can be transferred very easily to the online version of this software.) The online software allows your business to access your data and any changes made in real time. This is also an incredibly nice feature if more than one employee at your company needs to access data, or if you are away from the office and need to look something up.
The preferred method is through OneDrive. We will be able to set up an online filing system and both be able to edit and view documents as necessary. We can also email or send any documents as well if you prefer.
We work with you to meet your needs. We have the ability to perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual transactions. It is all up to you how much you would like L&K to handle. We offer one time services to set up or clean up your accounting, or ongoing services as well. We simply want to ensure that you are happy and our services make your business run smoother.
L&K starts billing all new clients at an hourly rate, which is approximately $40-$50 an hour based on the complexity of your needs. After an introductory period of 90 days, we will switch you over to a fixed price monthly schedule. The frequency and complexity of services increase the amount of time needed, and prices increase accordingly.
